When working on these newer models, we discovered a common and costly issue — the fuel line outlet on the fuel pump can break with surprisingly little force. Due to the tight routing between the frame and shrouds, removing the fuel tank without fully loosening the fuel line can place stress on the plastic fuel pump nipple, causing it to snap easily and render the pump unusable. Replacement fuel pumps can cost over $650.

The JPM Fuel Pump Saver is a simple yet highly effective solution designed to protect this vulnerable area. Mounted securely over the top of the fuel pump, it reinforces and shields the fuel line outlet, helping prevent accidental damage during maintenance, tank removal, or general handling.
